Yerevan Jazz Fest 2019. The City Listens to Jazz
The jazz lovers enjoyed a surprise at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall on October 30. Here the State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia under the direction of artistic director and conductor Armen Hyusnunts performed a beautiful concert.

Vahagn Hayrapetyan, Levon Malkhasyan, as well as guests from abroad, Agatha Irakeman and John Marshall also performed during the Yerevan Jazz Fest 2019.

The concert took place in a crowded concert hall under the warm response of the audience.

The Yerevan Jazz Fest is organized annually by the initiative of the Mezzo Production and the Armenian Jazz Association.

Within the framework of the festival, various concerts are held annually with the participation of renowned artists from abroad and locals. By the way, the State Jazz Orchestra of Armenia is not participating in this unique event for the first time.

John Marshall told us that he is very happy to come to Armenia, where he has many music friends. He said he does not know much about Armenia, only saw interesting videos on the Internet, from which he learned about the country. She thinks the Armenian audience will enjoy the music and will be satisfied.

By the way, on November 1, a fantastic concert is also expected in the Red Hall of Moscow Cinema where "Vahagn Hayrapetyan and Friends" band, vocalists Grant Stewart, Lucy Yeghiazaryan and trumpeter John Marshall will perform.

It should be reminded that on October 25 the annual international jazz festival - Yerevan Jazz Fest 2019 - started with the concert of four-time bass guitarist Stanley Clark.
