On December 17, representatives of state and non-governmental organizations in the youth field of Georgia were hosted by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia. The purpose of the study visit was to study Armenia's experience in the field of youth, to get acquainted with the challenges and steps taken in that direction.

The members of the delegation presented the strategic and program changes in Georgia in the field of youth, the main directions of reforms. As the main purpose of the visit, they spoke about the implementation of the Master's program of Young Worker in Georgia and Armenia.

Gohar Mamikonyan, Advisor to the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport attached importance to the opportunity to exchange experience with Georgian colleagues. The ministry continues to implement various projects with Save the Children. We are committed to continuing our work with the Yerevan office and to this end we attach great importance to ensuring youth participation. This is possible only through an organization working with young people, besides the constitutional requirement of having a law and concept of youth. To this end, a working group will be formed with the involvement of relevant specialists.

The visit of the representatives of the Georgian organizations to Armenia was organized by the Save the Children international organization within the framework of the EU "Youth for Future Thoughts" regional program (2018-2020). The EU funded project is implemented in 3 countries - Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine.
