Due to the epidemic situation, at the current stage, classes in general, primary (vocational) and secondary vocational schools in Artsakh will start on September 14, 2020, and classes in universities will start on September 1. The Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Azerbaijan informed that the first graders attending the secondary school will attend the school on September 1 for 1-1.5 hours with the teachers, to mark the Day of Knowledge.

"We are of the opinion that students should not wear a mask during the lesson. At present, children up to 10 years old will definitely not wear a mask. The issues of the others are still being discussed. Classes will be six-day, 35 minutes. Mass events will be banned in educational institutions. The school-run extracurricular activities will be stopped if they are really disruptive. From now on, we will allow all the schools that have more than 100 students to be able to organize extracurricular activities.

Groups organized by educational institutions with more than 100 students will be temporarily suspended. By the way, these schools will operate not only in two shifts, but in one shift. "The process of meetings and gatherings in educational institutions must be carried out remotely or outdoors, maintaining the anti-epidemic situation," said the Minister.

Speaking about the universities, Gharakhanyan noted that there will be live teaching in Shushi Technological և Artsakh State Universities. In case of increase of the registered indicators of the epidemic, the transition will be made online. Shushi Technological University has solved the issue of minibuses.
